FAQ & Troubleshooting — Facebook & Instagram Ads
Why isn’t my ad delivering?
Your ad may still be in review. Ads usually approve within a few hours. If it’s been more than 24 hours, check your billing method or audience size — small or overlapping audiences can stop delivery.
My payment failed — what do I do?
Go to Payment Methods and click Retry beside the failed payment. Make sure your card hasn’t expired and has enough funds. You can also add a backup card.
Meta rejected my ad — can I fix it?
Click the red Rejected label in Ads Manager to see why. Often it’s wording (“get rich,” “cure,” or “before/after” claims). Adjust your copy and resubmit. If you believe it’s a mistake, click Request Review.
Why are results dropping?
Ad fatigue is common — people stop reacting after seeing the same ad too often. Try swapping the image, shortening the text, or raising your budget slightly to reach new people.
How do I know if I’m spending too much?
Start small and look at your Cost per Result. If you’re not getting leads or sales within your comfort level, lower your daily budget by 10–20%. Avoid drastic changes; it resets the learning phase.
I can’t find my Ad Account.
At the top-left of Ads Manager, click the dropdown to switch between accounts. If someone else set up your ads, ask them to share access with your Business Manager email.
How do I contact Meta support?
Go to facebook.com/business/help and click Contact Support. You can chat with a Meta representative during business hours.
Can I run ads on Instagram only?
Yes! When creating or editing your campaign, go to Placements → Manual and uncheck Facebook options. Just note that running across both usually gives the best value.
