Getting started

Welcome

Your Google Ads account has been professionally set up by KBR Digital. You’re ready to appear on Google when customers are actively searching.

What’s already done

  • Campaigns, ad groups and keywords created
  • Conversion tracking connected (leads/sales)
  • Budgets and bidding strategy configured

How it works

Your ads show when people search for your services. Google’s system bids in auctions to get you the best results for your budget.

KBR Tip: Give it at least 7 days before making changes so the system can learn.
Weekly check

Check your results

  1. Go to ads.google.com and open Campaigns.
  2. Focus on 3 metrics:
    • Clicks — visits to your site
    • Conversions — enquiries/sales
    • Cost/Conv. — average cost per lead/sale

Simple updates

  • Increase budget: select a campaign → Budget → raise by 10–20%.
  • Pause a campaign or ad group: toggle the status.
  • Search terms: add obvious negatives (e.g., “jobs”, “free”) if they’re irrelevant.
